What should I buy to wear to a clubwear party?
Hey that is an interesting question and one that’s quite tricky by itself, as a clubwear event in a major club in a big city is probably going to have different attitudes to one at a friends house. So, lets break down the options and see what suits you best.
A friends party – they have gone for a Clubwear theme.
For this type of event I recommend something sexy but also something you will feel comfortable in. Remember your friends will be at this party, maybe your school buddies or work colleagues so if they are not used to see you looking so hot know might be the best time to go for your hottest outfit. Go sexy but not so sexy that your pictures appear on Facebook within minutes of you walking through the door.
A party in a Club, but not one known for a Clubwear theme
This is a tricky one and finding out from friends who have been before is always a great idea. Failing that give the club a call and ask them. Sometimes you won’t hold of anyone on the phone during the day so try early evening whilst they are quiet. Most the time in a club you can dress up and wear stuff that you wouldn’t normally where to a bar. Often its a good idea to take a jacket or coat to cover up on route to or home from the club; what will look amazing in the club can suddenly look shocking if you are walking home in a short skirt and high heels, so for your own modest have something to wrap up in!
